Thread Closed: March 1 - 4.

Thread will be closed while we move to our new location starting March 1 to 4.  We will re-open on Saturday, March 5th on 19th Street in the Heights!  Come check out our new home.  We can't wait for you to see the new store!

Thread Gets a Storefront: March 2011.

Thread is excited to announce...

we have a store front on 19th Street!  

321 B W. 19th St.

Starting in March, we will take over the space currently occupied by Sew Crafty.  We are sad to see such a cool store leave the neighborhood (we love Sarah + her concept), but we feel very blessed to have landed such a cool space in a great part of the Heights.

We will be sharing the space with our friends - Beanies and Sam & Lucy.  Stay tuned for more information on our exciting move!

Thank you all for your support!  We look forward to growing the store and becoming more involved in the community.

Due to the weather we are closing up shop a little early today - 2 PM.  Thanks to those of you that came to see us today.  We will be open again tomorrow from 10 - 4 ... weather permitting.

So, I couldn't resist doing a short post about this adorable
sweater I bought recently for Leila. My good neighbor, Kari,
and her business partner own a high-end kids' consignment shop
called THREAD. I saw this lightly used sweater by LiaMolly
(for Anthropologie) on their website and had to have it.
Can you see why?

Thread is going to be OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY tomorrow, February 3rd (due to the weather) in addition to our scheduled day Friday.  If you need to come by and pick up a jacket, coat or sweater give us a call and we will open the store for you:  713.447.2927.
